Great Golf for the Greater Good
While many golf courses offer a variety of leagues; the Leagues at Grand Haven Golf Club offer not only a great value, but the assurance that your participation helps the greater good. Grand Haven Golf Club is unique in that a percentage of all green fee revenue is donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Joining a league at Grand Haven Golf Club changes the lives of the dependents of those who have helped to provide us the freedom to enjoy the great game of golf. Last season the golfers at Grand Haven Golf Club directly, through their play, funded scholarships for seven dependents of servicemen killed or disabled in the line of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. You literally have changed their lives, given them hope for their future, and honored their loved ones sacrifice.

The Folds of Honor Foundation
Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to empower deserving military families with educational support and opportunities. FHF provides post-secondary educational scholarships to the spouses and children of service members disabled or killed as a result of their military service to our great nation. Our unique scholarships can be applied to schooling now or held by Folds of Honor on behalf of young children until needed at the time of enrollment. The Folds of Honor Foundation was founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, an F-16 pilot, golf course owner, PGA Professional and USGA member. A Major in the Air National Guard and a decorated military aviator, Rooney has served three combat tours in Iraq. After returning from his second tour, Major Rooney witnessed a profound situation that drove him to create the Folds of Honor Foundation
To date, the Folds of Honor Foundation has awarded 902 scholarships in excess of $3,000,000.00
